6-hr power interruption in Aklan areas Sunday – NGCP

Areas serviced by the Aklan Electric Cooperative (AKELCO) franchise will experience a six-hour long power interruption, from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Sunday, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines announced.

 

The service interruption was due to the scheduled shutdown of the Boracay substation's 30-megavolt power transformer to facilitate a hotspot correction. — Joel Locsin/DVM, GMA News
