Brownouts scheduled in Biliran from June 2 to 5

Power interruptions may occur in parts of Biliran starting Tuesday, June 2, the Biliran Electric Cooperative (BILECO) said Monday.
The BILECO, in a notice to member-consumers, said the schedule of power interruptions includes:
- maximum four-hour brownout between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in Brgy. Palanay, Caibiran, due to the replacement of rotten poles near the church and elementary school.
- maximum seven-and-a-half hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in part of Sitio Bliss, Calumpang, Naval, due to the transfer of service drop wire and transfer of kilowatt-hour meter to a new pole in Sitio Bliss.
June 3:
- maximum six-hour interruption from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Sitio Magsanok, Brgy. San Roque, Biliran, Biliran, due to the upgrading of a secondary line and clustering in Sitio Magsanok.
June 4:
- maximum four-hour power interruption between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in Brgy. Palenque, Caibiran, due to the replacement of a rotten pole in front of OCCI Caibiran in Brgy. Palanay.
June 5:
- maximum six-hour power interruption from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Barangay Victory, Caibiran, Biliran, due to the replacement of a rotten pole near OBBA Welding Shop in Brgy. Victory.
