Cebu City cops distribute anti-crime flyers, stickers

Police in Cebu City started distributing this week flyers and stickers containing their contact numbers, as part of efforts to curb criminality.

Some policemen gave flyers to pedestrians while others placed stickers on public utility vehicles, GMA Cebu's Chona Carreon reported Thursday.

The stickers included the police hotline for people to call in reporting a crime.

Chief Inspector Enrique Belciña said the information materials also warn the public against various modus operandi such as salisi, bubble gum, tirtir, laglag-barya, ipit-ipit and laslas-bulsa.
