WATCH: Hardware robbery in Bulacan caught on CCTV

Armed robbers hied off with P300,000 from a hardware store in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan last week, a report from GMA's “24 Oras” said Wednesday.

The robbery was caught on CCTV footage that showed the two suspects arriving at the hardware store on a motorcycle.

One of the suspects got his gun from his bag after he was let into the store by the manager. He then forced the manager down on the floor and went towards the cashier.

The suspect was able to get the cash from the hardware's sales along with the mobile phones of the employees.

Before leaving, the suspect who thought the CCTV footage was being recorded on a computer took a fire extinguisher and slammed the monitor.

Authorities are considering an inside job angle due to the timing of the crime. They are using the CCTV footage as a basis to track the suspects since it showed one of the robbers' faces. -Andrei Medina/NB, GMA News
