NGCP: 10-hr power interruption in Ifugao and Nueva Vizcaya

Parts of Ifugao and Nueva Vizcaya may experience a power interruption lasting up to 10 hours on Thursday, June 25, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said.

The NGCP said the scheduled power interruption is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and may affect IFELCO's Lagawe substation and NUVELCO's Solano substation.

Affected areas include:

- Ifugao: Lamut, Lagawe, Hingyon, Banaue, Mayoyao, Hungduan, Tinoc, Asipulo, and Kiangan
- Nueva Vizcaya: Villaverde, Diadi, Quezon, Solano, and Bagabag

The NGCP said this is due to the replacement of selected woodpoles and line hardware along the Bayombong-Lagawe 69-kilovolt line. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
