1 killed, 2 missing in Batangas fire —police

One person was killed and two others were missing in a fire that hit a commercial building in Batangas, a police report said Wednesday.

An initial report from the Batangas provincial police office identified the fatality as Analysa Jonson, 50,  who succumb to burns while being treated at Apacible Memorial District Hospital in Nasugbu.

Also, it said the two missing people are believed trapped in the burned building, adding that six people were injured in the incident.

Moreover, the report said the fire hit the Triple J Marketing Bldg. along Dilimon St., Brgy Poblacion 2, Lian town.

Also it said the Fire started at about 4 a.m. Wednesday. — LBG, GMA News
