Fire hits Tayabas public market, nearby houses

A fire of undetermined origin hit the public market in Tayabas City in Quezon province Saturday morning.

The fire broke out at about 10 a.m., GMA News correspondent Peewee Bacuño reported.

Some houses behind the market were also on fire, the report added.

No one was initially reported injured.
