Magnitude-4.4 quake jolts Zamboanga City

A magnitude-4.4 earthquake jolted Zamboanga City, early Sunday.

 

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said the quake struck at 52 kilometers northwest of Zamboanga City.

 

The quake's depth was recorded at 121 kilometers.

 

It was felt at Intensity 2 in the city.

 

PHIVOLCS said it does not expect aftershocks from the quake. — ALG, GMA News
