Power interruptions in parts of Benguet and Tarlac

Power interruptions lasting up to eight hours may affect parts of Benguet on Thursday, the Benguet Electric Cooperative said.

The cooperative said the power interruption will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. GMA Dagupan reported Wednesday.

Affected areas include Katinjan, Tinongdan Proper,  Binga Road, Tinongdan-Itogon; Sombrero-Ambuclao, Bokod; and Cabuyao, BWD Reservoir, Sitio Pongayan, PAGASA, Relay Station-Tuba.

On Friday, another power interruption from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. may affect Sitio Canubias-Camp 4, Tuba; and parts of Puroks 2 and 4 in Dontogan, Baguio City.

This is due to the installation of underbuilt secondary; installation of distribution transformer; retirement of idle transformers; and replacement of recloser tank.

Tarlac

In Tarlac, the Tarlac Electric Cooperative said a power interruption may occur for three-and-a-half hours between 8:30 a.m. and noon.

To be affected is a portion of Brgy. San Jose in Tarlac City. This is for the tapping of newly extended 3 phase 15-kilovolt primary lines at Blk. 4, Brgy. San Jose. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
