Landslide renders impassable part of Bontoc-Kalinga road

A landslide has rendered impassable to all types of vehicles a part of the Bontoc-Kalinga Road in Sadanga in the Mountain province.

According to a report on "Unang Balita" Friday morning, Public Works officials said the landslide happened amid a downpour on Thursday.



Personnel from the Department of Public Works and Highways said clearing operations have been hampered by occasional rock slides in the area.

The report also said that lack of heavy equipment is causing delays in the road-clearing work with only one pay-loader being used. — LBG, GMA News
