5 cops relieved following jailbreak in Tabaco, Albay

Five policemen were relieved from their post after three inmates were able to escape from the Tabaco City Police Station, a report of Unang Balita on Wednesday said.

Based on the investigation, the inmates sawed off the bars of the jail before escaping on Friday.

Authorities are continuing their manhunt operation for the three inmates identified as Rendell Ryan Carbonell, Virgilio Bonaobra, and Mark Anthony Yacat.

The three inmates are facing charges involving illegal drugs and illegal possession of firearms. —KG, GMA News
