Tornado hits Zamboanga del Sur

A tornado hit the municipality of Tukuran in Zamboanga del Sur on Sunday, a report of Unang Balita on Monday said.

About 15 stores and houses were destroyed while the roof of other houses were blown away by the wind.

Many trees were uprooted and obstructed roads.

Even the police station was damaged, the report said.

Some areas had brownout since the tornado also damaged power lines.

No one was injured in the incident, the report said. —KG, GMA News
