Abu Sayyaf kidnapers release mining executive in Jolo

Abu Sayyaf Group kidnappers released mining executive Priscillano Garcia in Jolo, Sulu Tuesday night after Garcia's family allegedly paid the P1.3 million ransom, GMA 7 late night news program “Saksi” reported.



After his release, authorities gave Garcia a medical check-up, then took him to Zamboanga City.

Garcia was kidnapped in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi last May. — DVM, GMA News
