Barangay folk suspect aswang behind goat killings in Ilocos Norte

Six goats were found dead with their guts ripped open by a roadside in Barangay San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, GMA News' “24 Oras” reported on Thursday.

Out of panic and confusion, some residents have put a garlic necklace on their goats suspecting an “aswang” was responsible for the killings.

They have also put garlic and salt in their house’s doors and windows.

But San Nicolas Barangay Chairman Franklin Agustin downplayed the rumors and said they were not true. -Trisha Macas/NB, GMA News
