All 85 students in Bohol food poisoning released from hospital
Eighty-five students allegedly downed by tainted ampaw (poprice) on Friday Ubay town in Bohol have been discharged from the hospital, a report said Saturday.
GMA News reported the victims were rushed to Don Emilio de Valle Memorial Hospital on Friday after complaining of stomachache at vomiting.
According the report, the students bought the pop rice they ate from an ambulant vendor.
They are all from Villa Teresita Elementary School of Ubay town.
Doctor Maria Esperanza Aliñab of the Don Emilio del Valle Memorial Hospital said food samples were already brought to the provincial health office for testing.
Local authorities have called for an emergency meeting to investigate the supposed food poisoning incident. — LBG, GMA News
