12-hour brownout to hit Misamis Oriental Sunday

A 12-hour power outage will hit parts of Misamis Oriental on Sunday, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said Thursday.

In an advisory, the NGCP said the power supply interruption will start at 6 a.m. and will end at 6 p.m.

Also it said that the power outage will give way to the preventive maintenance activity of the 69KV line and transfer of MORESCO-2 69KV line connection at Jasaan Substation CEPALCO.

Affected customers are CAMELCO, MORESCO-2 and CEPALCOS.

Specific affected areas are determined by the electric cooperatives and distribution utility, the NGCP said. — LBG, GMA News
