PNR bridge in CamSur collapses
A Philippine National Railways bridge in Camarines Sur crashed before dawn on Saturday, but no one was reported hurt in the incident.
The collapsed bridge is the one in Barangay Apad in Ragay town.
Photos of the bridge show that its foundation is eroded. The iron bars of its rail tracks are twisted, and its railing and supporting beams destroyed.

Residents said PNR personnel had conducted an inspection after noticing that the structure's foundation erodes every time rampaging floodwaters hits it during rainy days.
According to local officials, residents of Barangay Cale are having a hard time going to Ragay town as the bridge is their only way across the river.
In the meantime, residents have constructed a makeshift bridge made of bamboo poles so they can cross the river to get to the town center.
GMA News tried but failed to get in touch with the PNR headquarters on Sunday afternoon.
On the other hand, a PNR bridge in Del Gallego town is being monitored as its center foundation is slowly being eroded by floodwaters.
Local officials said the PNR is planning to rehabilitate the bridge. — LBG, GMA News
