Davao City fire razes 150 homes

A fire that broke out in Davao City's Barangay 76-A on Thursday razed some 150 homes and affected around 200 families, GMA 7 late night news program reported.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire was caused by a DVD player that had been plugged in an outlet.

This was the second fire to hit Barangay 76-A in three days. Some two residents were killed and 70 homes were destroyed in the earlier, Tuesday fire. — DVM, GMA News
