Hackers deface Bohol LGUs’ websites

Hackers on Saturday defaced the websites of two local government units in Bohol province.

The hackers replaced the homepages of the Loon and Panglao local governments' websites with the message: "Nobody can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice if you are a man you take it. -Chinese Government."

The attacks happened days after the Permanent Court of Arbitration issued its ruling on the case filed by the Philippines against China's claims over territories in the West Philippine Sea.

The international court ruled that China violated the Philippines' "sovereign rights in its exclusive economic zone."

The defaced websites have not been fixed as of this posting. —ALG, GMA News
