2 Rizal cops nabbed for alleged rape, illegal detention of 24-year-old lass

Two police officers were arrested for the alleged rape and illegal detention of a woman in Binangonan, Rizal over the weekend.

The suspects were identified as Police Officers 2 Melanie Domingo and Rodel Payas, assigned at the Binangongan Municipal Police Station.

The Binangonan MPS said a 24-year-old resident filed a complaint of rape against the two policemen on Sunday night.

It said that according to the complainant, the two policemen entered and searched her house in Barangay Parang on Saturday morning.

The complainant said one of the police officers say "Ilabas mo na ang basura" during the search.

The complainant said she was brought by the two police officers to the police station.

Payas then allegedly brought her to a motel in Barangay Pag-Asa, where she was allegedly raped.

The Binangonan police is investigating the incident. —ALG, GMA News
