Typhoon Ferdie brings heavy rains to Bangued, Abra

Heavy rains and strong winds are being felt by residents of Bangued, Abra due to Typhoon Ferdie, Unang Balita reported on Tuesday.

Due to the strong winds, some trees were almost uprooted.

Thunderstorm and lightning are also being experienced, the report said.

Abra has been placed under Signal No. 1 due to Typhoon Ferdie.

On Tuesday, the typhoon has started to threaten extreme northern Luzon. 

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council is continuing to monitor Typhoon Ferdie's effects on the province. —KG, GMA News
