Mark Anthony Fernandez’s condition getting better after Pampanga jail transfer
The condition of actor Mark Anthony Fernandez reportedly got better after he was transferred to Pampanga Provincial Jail, a News To Go report on Wednesday said.
The actor was transferred to Pampanga Provincial Jail on Tuesday from Angeles District Jail.
Fernandez was placed in a prison cell with three other inmates, all facing drug-related charges, GMA News’ Jun Veneracion reported.
While in Angeles District Jail, the actor was detained with 102 other inmates in a cramped prison cell that can only accommodate 20 persons.
Edwin Mangaliman, warden at Pampanga Provincial Jail, said jail authorities decided to put Fernandez in a spacious prison cell to ensure his safety.
The actor, however, will eventually be transferred to a less spacious prison cell.
Meanwhile, Mangaliman advised Fernandez’s family to strictly follow their visitation rules.
The visiting hours on Wednesday will be from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Fernandez was arrested in Angeles City, Pampanga on Oct. 3 for alleged possession of a kilo of marijuana.
