9-hour power outage to hit some Zambales towns on Feb. 3, 2017
Residents of some areas in Zambales will have to endure a nine-hour power outage on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017.

The affected areas will be those serviced by Zambales II Electric Cooperative II (ZAMECO) - Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) San Antonio.
Maintenance activity in the line segment will be conducted on February 3, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Fely Francisco, National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) Corporate Regional Communication officer told GMA News Online that the scheduled power interruption is to accomodate the request of ZAMECO II.
Meanwhile, the following areas will be affected with a 15-minute power interruption at 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Friday:
• Subic
• Castillejos
• San Marcelino
• San Antonio
• San Narciso
• San Felipe
• Cabangan
Francisco added that the momentary shutdown will facilitate "sectionalizing and isolation of line segment serving ZAMECO II - (NETC) San Antonio for replacement and installation of their line disconnect switch." —Marlly Rome C. Bondoc/KG, GMA News
