Surigao City Airport closed after magnitude-6.7 quake —CAAP


Airport authorities ordered Saturday morning the temporary closure of the Surigao City Airport, which is slightly damaged due to the magnitude-6.7 quake that hit Surigao del Norte Friday evening.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines CAAP issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) which says that Surigao Airport will be closed until March 10.

No advice for flight cancellation yet as of posting time, according to Manila International Airport Authority. —Marlly Rome C. Bondoc
