Three shot dead in CDO

Three individuals were killed in Cagayan de Oro over the weekend after being shot by still-unidentified assailants.

According to reports, the incident happened past 1 p.m., when three men shot a certain Mawi Solaiman, a worker in a nearby thrift shop.

While the suspects were fleeing the scene of the crime, they were reported to have been shot by still unidentified forces, killing two of them while the driver was able to run away.

Some 50 bullet casings were recovered from the crime scene.

Another customer who was inside the thrift shop at the time of the shooting was also said to have also been grazed on the face by a bullet.

While police officials are now looking at family feud as the motive for killing Solaiman, they are also searching for leads as to the identity of the shooter who killed the two suspects. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
