Fire destroyed two rubber float factories in Sta. Maria, Bulacan on Thursday evening and no one was reported hurt, GMA News’ Vonne Aquino reported on "Unang Balita" on Friday.

The fire broke out at about 11:30 p.m. and reached the second alarm, the report added.

Fernando Clemente, municipal fire marshal of Sta. Maria Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

An initial investigation showed that an electrical problem might have caused the fire, and that a factory personnel tried to put out the fire but failed.

No one was reported hurt, but the fire also destroyed a house nearby and four vehicles.

Authorities are still determining cost of property damage from the fire. —Erwin Colcol/LBG, GMA News
