Piercing sound disturbs Cavite residents during Batangas quakes

The strong earthquakes that struck Batangas province on Saturday afternoon was mildly felt in Tanza town in Cavite province, but this piercing sound disturbed its villagers.

The loud scraping sound can be heard in this video shared by Luis Sebastian del Rosario on Facebook.

Del Rosario said the sound was coming from the huge water tank seen in his video.

He said they barely felt the earthquakes that struck Mabini, Batangas at past 3 p.m., but they went out of their residences in Lhinette Homes, Barangay Biga because of the piercing sound from the water tank. —report from Marlon Luistro/ALG, GMA News
