Two dead bodies found inside SUV parked along Quirino Highway
Two dead bodies—a man and a woman who are still yet to be identified—were found inside a sports utility vehicle (SUV) parked along Quirino Highway in Bulacan over the weekend.
According to a report on GMA's "24 Oras Weekend," the two bodies were found inside a RAV4 vehicle that was said to have been parked late Saturday night and remained unmoved Sunday morning, prompting bystanders to look in the windows. This was when bystanders saw blood dripping from inside the vehicle.
"6:27 [a.m.] kaninang umaga ay mayroon silang nakitang... [they] found a dead body na lalaki tsaka babae on board sa isang RAV4 na black," San Jose del Monte Chief Police Superintendent Fitz Macariola said in the report.
Macariola said that scene of the crime operatives found five .22-caliber shells.
Also found on the dashboard of the car was a list of police officials supposedly involved in dealing illegal drugs, as well as a cellphone and a packet of methamphetamine hydrochloride, more commonly known as shabu.
"Mahirap po mag-speculat whoever sa ating nakita po sa loob [ng sasakyan ang may-ari.] Mayroon po siyang isang scahet ng methamphetamine hydrochloride, shabu, so hindi po natin dini-discount 'yung possibility na meron po siyang relationship sa droga," Macariola said.
Police officials have already identified the owner of the vehicle, and are already conducting investigations into the matter. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
