2 suspects killed in Bulacan drug bust

 

Police operatives shot to death two drug suspects in a sting operation before dawn Sunday in Malolos, Bulacan.

GMA News stringer Rommel Ramos reported Sunday morning that the suspects resisted arrest during the buy bust operation in Barangay Bulihan and shot it out with authorities.

Law enforcement officials identified the fatalities as alias Kenneth and Sherwin, the report said.

In the entrapment operation in Malolos, a police agent posed as buyer and transacted with Kenneth and Sherwin.

But, upon sensing that they were dealing with undercover agents, Kenneth fired his improvised shotgun while Sherwin drew his cal-.38 handgun an fired at lawmen.

The two died on the spot while shooting it out with the police.

Recovered from the scene were an improvised shotgun, a cal-.38 handgun, sachets of suspected shabu, and marked money used in the buy bust operation. —LBG, GMA News
