Jeepney runs over, kills farmer in Maguindanao

A speeding passenger jeep ran over and killed a farmer in Datu Paglas, Maguindanao on Sunday.

One of the jeepney's passengers told GMA 7 news program "24 Oras Weekend" that the vehicle was going too fast for the driver to hit the brakes and avoid hitting the farmer crossing the street.

After being dragged by the jeep for around 20 meters, most of the unidentified victim's clothing was ripped off his body.
