Marilao cops gun down 2 alleged armed robbers

Two alleged armed robbers were killed in a shootout with police officers at a checkpoint in Marilao, Bulacan.

According to Sunday report on GMA 7 news program "24 Oras", authorities set up the checkpoint after they had been tipped off by one of the suspects' victims.

The suspects approached the checkpoint on a motorcycle but refused to stop, thus triggering the gunfight.

Among the evidence found on the suspects were several packets of shabu and two .38 pistols. — DVM, GMA News
