Alleged Marwan-trained BIFF bomb expert nabbed in Maguindanao

An alleged bomb expert, who belonged to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters and was trained by slain Malaysian terrorist Zulkifli bin Hir alias Marwan, has been arrested in Maguindanao.

A News To Go report on Thursday said Madalih Abdulla was nabbed by authorities at a floating restaurant in Datu Salibo town.

The report said he was arrested by joint elements of the military and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.

Seized from the suspect was a grenade and a cal-.45 pistol.

Abdulla was said to be part of the BIFF's hit squad targeting off-duty government soldiers.

Marwan was killed in a police operation in Maguindanao in January 2015, which also resulted in the deaths of 44 elite policemen. — MDM, GMA News
