Sara Duterte, Lani Cayetano visit Marawi, each hand P5-M donation
Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte and Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano on Thursday visited Marawi City and handed over their respective local governments' cash donations for the city's rehabilitation.
They went to the main battle area where ISIS-inspired Maute group holed up during the five-month fighting. They also lighted candles and offered prayers and flowers inside the St. Mary's Cathedral.
Duterte and Cayetano also visited the Malutlot Elementary School and the Marawi City Hall.

They visited Marawi as representatives of the "Tapang at Malasakit Alliance for the Philippines." But their respective local government units donated P5 million each for Marawi City.
Incidentally, Duterte and Cayetano visited Marawi on the same day Vice President Leni Robredo went to the city to hand over medicines worth P500,000 each for Amai Pakpak Medical Center and the City Health Center of Marawi. — MDM, GMA News
