Fire hits slippers factory, meat storage plant in Bulacan

A factory manufacturing slippers and a meat storage plant in Meycauayan, Bulacan was hit by fire on Wednesday night.

At least 40 firetrucks responded to put out the fire which reached the fourth alarm, according to a report on Unang Balita on Thursday.

It took three hours before firemen were able to put the fire under control.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire and determining the extent of damage. —KG, GMA News
