Quezon national highway impassable due to landslide

The Real-Mauban National Highway in Quezon province remains impassable on Monday to motor vehicles due to a landslide caused by heavy rains.
According to a report on Unang Balita on Monday, the landslide which occurred on Sunday affected a portion of the highway along Barangay Tignaoan in the town of Real.

Clearing operations are still ongoing in the area, while residents travel by foot to pass the landsline area.
The report said authorities expect to reopen the highway by Wednesday.
