Man hacks to death live-in partner, their 2 kids in Romblon

A man reportedly hacked his live-in partner and two children to death before he was shot dead by responding police officers in San Andres, Romblon on Tuesday.

The San Andres Municipal Police Station received a phone call from a certain Raul Deluviar, who had reported that the suspect identified as Michael Forlaje Falceso, 33, killed his family around 6:31 a.m..

The suspect, according to several witnesses, engaged his partner, Mylene Talangan, 31, in a heated argument.

The quarrel supposedly prompted Falceso to kill her along with their two children, Emilyn Falceso, 9, and Erwin James Falceso, 5.

Police officers who immediately responded and proceeded to Barangay Calunacon in San Andres, Romblon to verify the report were attacked by the suspect after they entered his house to arrest him.

The suspect, however, was shot by Police Officer 2 Eliton Casidsid, hitting him at the left side of his stomach.

Falceso was brought to San Andres Municipal Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. —NB, GMA News
