Multi-vehicle collision occurred along Marcelo Fernan Bridge in Cebu

At least 11 vehicles were involved in an accident along Mercelo Fernan Bridge in Mandaue City on Monday morning.

The accident involved an SUV turned over on its side in front of a truck, taxi cabs, and private cars in a smash up.

The multi-vehicle collision occurred along the bridge that connects mainland Cebu to Mactan island around 11 a.m. on Monday.

The accident caused a massive build up of vehicles coming from Mandaue City to Lapu-Lapu City where the Mactan International Airport is located.

According to reports, no one was injured in the incident.

The thoroughfare was cleared by Monday afternoon. — BAP, GMA News
