3 arrested in Iligan City for using 3 children in cybersex trade
Authorities in Lanao del Norte have arrested live-in partners and their friend for allegedly pimping her own children and the woman partner's 17-year-old niece for their cybersex business in Iligan City.
In a report by Bam Alegre on "Unang Balita" on Friday, the live-in partners admitted to pimping their 17-year-old niece and their friend's two children online, forcing the minors to perform for the sex videos they sold to foreign customers.
According to the suspect-couple, they themselves perform for the sex videos at the start of their cybersex business. But an American client allegedly demanded young sex actors for the videos he was buying.
So, the female partner convinced her 17-year-old niece to perform for the sex videos.
"In connivance silang tatlo kasi 'yung dalawang mag-asawa, 'yung lalaki doon, siya ang aktor mismo pati 'yung pamangkin ng asawa niya. So, with the consent of the live-in partner, binivideohan siya," lawyer Abdulajamal Dimaporo said.
The male partner said the client promised to pay them P2,000 but failed to send the payment.
According to the couple, their friend Remi Villafuerte, encouraged them to be partners in her cybersex business.
Villafuerte had also admitted that she used her two children for the sex videos.
Authorities have recovered receipts of purchase of the videos sent to Villafuerte.
The three are now facing charges of trafficking in humans, child abuse, anti-child pornography and anti-video voyeurism violations.
No fines were recommended for the suspects, the report said.
The three are now in police custody, while the children and the minor are placed under the care of the City Social Welfare and Development Office. —Jamil Santos/LBG, GMA News
