Over 600 passengers stranded in ports —PCG

The Philippine Coast Guard on Sunday said 638 passengers were stranded in various ports as of 12 noon due to bad weather.
The stranded passengers were at ports in Bicol and Southern Tagalog as follows:
Bicol:
- Camarines Sur: Pasacao Port - 83 passengers
Southern Tagalog:
- Batangas: Tingloy Port - 26 passengers
- Batangas: Calatagan Port - 8 passengers
- Northern Quezon: Real Port - 300 passengers
- Northern Quezon: Infanta Port - 61 passengers
- Northern Quezon: Polilio Port - 160 passengers

Some 26 motorbancas and eight vessels were also prohibited from sailing out to sea.
PAGASA said sea travel is still risky over the northern and western seaboards of Luzon as the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to bring rains to many parts of the country. —KG, GMA News
