Six-month-old infant drowns in floodwater in Malolos, Bulacan

A six-month-old infant drowned in knee-deep floodwater in Malolos, Bulacan, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Tuesday.

The grandfather of the child said the victim fell from the bed where they were sleeping with their mother into the flood that made its way into their home.

Their mother woke up to see them floating in the water and though the infant was rushed to a nearby hospital, the baby eventually passed away. — Rie Takumi/RSJ, GMA News
