5 dead in Cebu City ambush

Five men were killed in what authorities believe was an ambush in Cebu City on the wee hours of Thursday, according to Super Radyo Cebu's Allan Majait's report on Dobol B sa News TV.

The incident reportedly happened at 3:50 a.m. in Sitio Kan-irag in Barangay Malubog.

Authorities suspect the ambush may be drug-related as shabu and handguns were found in the possession of the victims. —KBK, GMA News
