4 killed in Talisay City, Cebu ambush
Four people were killed in an ambush attack in Talisay City, Cebu early afternoon on Friday, a radio report said.

RGMA' s Gabriel Bonjoc reported on Super Radyo dzBB that the victims have yet to be identified.
An initial police information showed that one of the fatalities was a police officer identified as Michael Cortez, known by his nickname "Mic-mic."
Quoting witnesses, police said armed men waylaid the victims driving in the vicinity of Sitio Ranger, Barangay Puok, Talisay City at about 12:30 p.m. An initial investigation showed the police officer was being linked to drugs.
Two of the victims' bodies were found inside the SUV they were driving and one body was found sprawled on the pavement near the vehicle.
The fourth fatality was a female scavenger found 200 meters from the crime scene and believed to have been hit by a stray bullet from the suspects.
As of posting time, authorities were waiting for members of the SOCO for the processing of the crime scene. —LBG/MDM, GMA News
