Heavy rains cause landslide in Famy-Real, Quezon road

A landslide took place along Famy-Real road in Quezon province due to heavy rains, according to a report of Peewee Bacuño on "News To Go" Monday.

No one was hurt in the incident which happened on Sunday.

The affected road is now passable to motorists, however, authorities were still clearing some parts of the Famy-Real Road.

Authorities also warned motorists on the risks of passing through the area due to the slippery road.

Famy-Real road is a way to Infanta, Real and General Nakar, the report said.

Meanwhile, along Maharlika Highway in Lopez, Quezon, vehicles crawled for two to three hours to traverse the road after heavy rains caused the ground to soften. —Joviland Rita/ LDF, GMA News
