Batocabe slay suspects swear on confessions before Albay prosecutor

The suspects in the killing of Ako Bicol party-list Representative Rodel Batocabe have sworn to their extrajudicial confessions at the provincial prosecutor's office in Albay.

According to Ian Cruz's report on QRT, the authorities brought confessed gunman Henry Yuson and two other suspects Rolando Arimado and Danilo Muella  to the prosecutor's office in Legazpi City on Monday.

Attorney Bartolome Roa Rayco, who assisted the three suspects, said they were consistent in their respective sworn statements.

Yuson reiterated his earlier statement that it was he who shot Batocabe and his police aide Orlando Diaz.

He also stressed that it was Daraga Mayor Carlwyn Baldo who ordered the hit.

Arimado said that he was the lookout but upon questioning admitted that he shot both Batocabe and Diaz but only after they were both already dead. —NB, GMA News
