Zamboanga City peace and order council meets after grenade attack
The Zamboanga City peace and order council gathered on Thursday after the mosque grenade attack, according to Bam Alegre's report on "24 Oras."
Zamboanga City mayor Isabelle Climaco said during the meeting, "Our priority is security, health, and education and that is why there's a need for us to be present."
The entire Zamboanga Peninsula is already on high alert after the grenade attack on Wednesday at the Mahardika Mosque in Zamboanga City, at least two persons and injuring three others.
According to the police, the attack could have been triggered by a feud involving the persons of interest and could be an isolated case from the Jolo attack on Sunday.
Investigation on the incident continues to determine the identities of the perpetrators and the motives behind the bombing. —Kaela Malig/ LDF, GMA News
