Dead dolphin found ashore in Masbate

A dead female Bottlenose dolphin was found ashore in Dimasalang, Masbate.

A report on GMA News TV's Balita Pilipinas Ngayon on Wednesday said the two-meter-long dolphin had wounds on its body.

It was diagnosed to have been affected by zoonosis, according to the attending veterinarian.

The World Health Organization defines zoonosis as any disease or infection that is "naturally transmissible from vertebrate animals to humans."
