PAO finds evidence murdered teen in Lapu-Lapu City was raped
Public Attorney's Office autopsy on the remains of the murdered teen in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu has found evidence the 16-year-old victim Christine Lee Silawan was raped before she was killed and her body dumped in a vacant lot .
PAO's forensic investigator Dr. Erwin Erfe, who conducted the autopsy upon the request of Silawan's family, found "abrasions and hematoma" in the victim's genital, Super Radyo-Cebu's Randy Gorion reported on Dobol B sa News TV on Wednesday.

Dr. Erfe's findings belie an earlier finding by Doctor Benjamin Lara of the PNP Region7 crime laboratory indicating that Silawan was not raped.
Silawan was found dead in a vacant lot in Lapu-Lapu City last March 11. Her face was mangled and probably splashed with acid.
Earlier, PAO's head Persida Acosta said they will submit a supplemental case against the suspects in the case, saying her office has credible witnesses. —LBG, GMA News
