Fire hits Misamis University

The 90-year-old Misamis University in Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental was hit by fire at noon Friday.

The blaze that started at around 12:45 p.m. destroyed a portion of the university's library and auditorium.

It was put out after an hour.

The quick response from fire fighters from Ozamiz, Tangub City and Tudela prevented the fire from spreading.

The Bureau of Fire Protection in the city is investigating the incident. —LDF, GMA News
