Traffic light on NLEX, SLEX on Easter Sunday morning as Holy Week break ends

Traffic on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) remained light on Easter Sunday morning,  even as the Holy Week break has come to a close.

NLEX Corporation posted screenshots of the situation on NLEX before 8 a.m. showing the light traffic both northbound and southbound.

Meanwhile, on SLEX, traffic was still also light northbound and southbound at the Alabang and Calamba toll plazas.

Many Filipinos headed out of Metro Manila to go to provinces for the Holy Week break with their loved ones.

Most of them are expected to be back in Metro Manila by Sunday evening, in time for work on Monday. —KG, GMA News
