Rolen Paulino Jr. wins over Anne Gordon as Olongapo mayor

Rolen Paulino Jr., son of the incumbent mayor Rolen Paulino, was proclaimed early Tuesday as the winner of the mayoralty race in Olongapo City.

The younger Paulino, who garnered 58,131 votes, was proclaimed winner a few minutes after 12 a.m.

He won over Anne Gordon, wife of former Olongapo City mayor James "Bong" Gordon and sister-in-law of Senator Richard Gordon. She had 26,859 votes.

Proclaimed vice mayor was independent candidate Jong Cortez who got 38,791 votes. —KG, GMA News
